Oh, the neck and shoulder problems! Too much time in incorrect posture while doing my compurter work!! And I often like to work sitting on my nice, firm couch. My physical therapist said things had to change!! It gets my screen up where it needs to be (happy head/neck), allows my arms to be down at my sides (happy shoulders), and allows forearms and hands to be supported in a neutral position while typing (happy wrists). This lap desk is super light and has a convenient handle, so when working at home I can move from room to room. I use this mainly for writing, and so the pen holder really helps me keep track of my pens. And the phone holder in back is super helpful. But I also use this with my large laptop & it's the perfect size and has very comfy wrist guards. At night I've also been using this for reading in bed & it's nice that I can adjust the height & it keeps my book level so it doesn't keep closing on me!

The surface also has a small hump to prevent the laptop from sliding off when working at an angle.
The middle cushion is sewn onto the back cushion so I can fold back to create a base that’s at an angle.

As soon as I pulled this lap desk out of the box, I was struck by how well constructed it seemed to be and the fact that it looks like it will last for a long time and through a lot of use. Now, after having had a chance to use it regularly for a while, I have been impressed by how comfortable it is to use. The wrist support has really been helping me out ergonomically. I can tell the difference after a long session of using my laptop. I also like that it has the flexibility to change the angle of the desk. I normally leave it on the lower angle for using my laptop, but the steeper angle can be nice at times for a tablet or even resting a book on the lap desk to read more comfortably.
